The Jefferson County Appraiser's Office is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Cartographer.
This position is responsible for the identification and ownership maintenance of properties located in Jefferson County. Must have knowledge of the Statewide Orion sysem, the ability to read and interpret legal descriptions and knowledge of ArcGis.
Applicants must possess excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to positively interact with the public. Also possess the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Computer experience is necessary. A valid Kansas driver's license is required.
Jefferson County requires physical capacity testing, drug testing, hearing and vision testing. Applications, along with resumes must be received by 4:30 pm on August 6, 2010. EOE, ADA
Hourly salary range: $12.76 to $17.27.
