SPARK Grant Application Process

  The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners have set aside State of Kansas SPARK funding, provided under the CARES ACT, to assist businesses in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County. Below, you will find a link to download the grant application. This economic development grant is specifically intended for businesses in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County, Kansas that were impacted, or continue to be impacted, by COVID-19. 

  This application can be submitted digitally to the email address on the application between September 16th and October 9th. Applicants may also pick up a printed copy of the application in the basement of the Courthouse - Directly across from the elevator on the pamphlet holder. 

  If you wish to submit your application in person, we will only be accepting them between 8 AM and 4:30 PM on October 9th, 2020 at the City of Building in Oskaloosa (212 W. Washington St, Oskaloosa, KS). In-person applications will not be accepted any other time. 

Please Note: If your business is within a City limit of Jefferson County, KS you will need to contact THAT CITY about any programs they may have for assistance. This grant is for businesses in the unincorporated areas of Jefferson County, KS ONLY.
