January 5th 2021 Press Release - JCHD is providing COVID testing by appointment. KDHE is now completing most of the Case Investigations and Contact Tracing for Jefferson County. This allows JCHD the ability to focus on testing and vaccinations, once more vaccine becomes available.
December 4th, 2020 Press Release - quarantine guidelines will allow asymptomatic individuals that have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 to be released from quarantine after day 7 with negative PCR test or after day 10 without a test.
