Responsibilities
The County Clerk's Office manages elections in the county as well as accounts payable and payroll for all county departments.

The Clerk's Office maintains a general ledger and manages the budget for the county. The office is also in charge of maintaining the real estate and personal property assessments rolls for tax purposes.

The clerk acts as the secretary for the Board of County Commissioners and serves as the county's public information officer.
