Women's health services and pregnancy prevention services are provided
through the Jefferson County Health Department. All services are
completely confidential.
To scheduled an appointment, call (785) 863-2447 or stop by in person
during walk-in clinic hours on Tuesdays and Fridays between 8:00 am and
4:00 pm.
Family Planning / Contraceptive / Women’s Health Program
The
Family Planning / Contraceptive / Women’s Health Program program
provides opportunity to women of child bearing age to obtain
reproductive health exams and contraceptive services. Further

Healthy Start Visitor Program
Healthy
Start Visitor Program is a home service available to all prenatal and
postnatal women. The department staff is able to provide health
resources, education, outreach, and family support. More information

Prenatal & Post Natal Care
Prenatal
and Post Natal Care services provide women opportunity for professional
nursing counseling during and after pregnancy or other nursing services
directed by their physician.
Women, Infant & Child (WIC) Nutrition Program
The Women, Infant, and Child (WIC) Nutrition Program provides
supplemental nutrition to qualifying pregnant women, post partum women,
infants, and children through the age of five. Please visit our
