Occupational Therapy
About Occupational Therapy Services
Occupational therapy can assist patients by improving activities of daily living (ADLs) through therapy and by assessing the patient’s home environment and suggesting adaptive equipment that will allow patients to independently complete daily tasks. Daily task completion includes eating, bathing, dressing, and basic household routines. These task completions will be accomplished through instruction using specialized rehabilitation techniques and equipment.

Occupational therapists are specialists in hand function training and can assess and treat the injury via splints or orthotics.
